Title

Why is the machine I received wet? Has it been used by someone else?

The machine you received is brand new. Before leaving the factory, all our machines undergo a pool test to ensure proper functionality. Occasionally, a small amount of water may get inside during this test, which could make the machine feel damp. However, rest assured, the machine has not been used by anyone else.

How long do pool robots last?

The lifespan of pool robots depends on maintenance and usage frequency.  On average, these machines can easily last up to five years, provided you clean them after every session.

How often should I clean my pool?

The frequency of pool cleaning depends on the amount of debris present. As a rule of thumb, it's advisable to run it once or twice a week.

How do I clean my Talosbo robotic pool cleaner?

To clean the Talosbo robotic pool cleaner, remove and rinse the filter, brushes, and any other removable parts after each use. Additionally, it's advised to perform a thorough cleaning of the cleaner every few months.

Why shouldn't the robotic pool cleaner be charged on a covered outdoor deck?

Charging the device outdoors is not recommended due to the potential risk of the battery catching fire from sun exposure. Even though the deck may be covered, there are still temperature limitations for outdoor charging. We strongly discourage consumers from charging the device outdoors.

In certain regions, particularly those with hot and humid climates, outdoor charging poses greater risks. Therefore, it's best to charge the device indoors and avoid exposing it to sunlight or high temperatures. If you have any inquiries or require further assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer service team.

Is my Talosbo robotic pool cleaner sensitive to hot or cold water?

According to the warranty document, the Talosbo robot should be operated in water temperatures ranging from 50F to 95F (6℃ to 35℃) for optimal performance.

In colder water, the Talosbo robot may operate less efficiently, especially in terms of climbing ability.

Conversely, if the water is too warm and improperly balanced, it can lead to algae growth, which may clog the filters and impact the Talosbo's cleaning effectiveness.

Will my Talosbo pool robot work in a saltwater swimming pool?

Yes, our Talosbo robots can be used in saltwater pools.

However, prolonged exposure to saltwater can lead to premature wear and tear on the robot's wearable components. Therefore, we recommend rinsing the robot with fresh water (tap water) after each cleaning cycle.

For optimal performance and maintenance, it's important to ensure that the salinity levels do not exceed 5,000 P.P.M.

How long can I leave my Talosbo robot in the pool?

We recommend taking your Talosbo pool robot out from the pool after each use to empty and clean the filter. Store it in a cool, dry place afterward. Additionally, it's advisable to rinse your cleaner regularly with clear water to eliminate any excess chemicals or salts.
If your Talosbo model includes a weekly timer option, it's safe to keep it in the pool water for up to a week, but remember to clean the filter at the end of the weekly cycle.

How do I take out my Talosbo robot from the pool?

After its cleaning cycle, the Talosbo robot will stand next to a wall. Simply use the pick-up handle or hook to lift it out of the water. And don't forget to recharge it for the next cleaning!

How do I store my Talosbo robot after every pool cleaning session?

For optimal maintenance, we recommend the following steps:

1.Take the Talosbo robot out of the pool.
2. Store it in a location away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, or cold to prevent accelerated wear and tear.
3. Connected the robot to the charger so it's ready for the next pool cleaning whenever you need it.
Remember, proper maintenance will help keep your robot in top condition for as long as possible.

How do I store my Talosbo during the off-season?

When your robotic pool cleaner won't be used for an extended period, it's time for off-season storage.

Make sure the Talosbo robot is turned off and disconnected from the charger. Follow these steps for efficient off-season storage:

1. Drain all the water from the Talosbo pool robot.
2. Store the Talosbo robot in an area sheltered from sunlight, rain, and frost, with a storage temperature between -10°C to 35°C (14°F to 95°F).
3. We recommend charging the battery to 40%-60% every three months to maintain battery health.
4. Before using the Talosbo pool robot after off-season storage, make sure to charge it.
Avoid charging the battery when its temperature is below 0°C (32°F) or above 35°C (95°F).

FAQ

Title

What kind of swimming pools is this device suitable for cleaning?

This device is designed to clean swimming pools that have flat floors and no slopes up to 850 sq.ft/80m².It performs as intended in pools made of concrete, fiberglass vinyl, mosaic tiles, glass, and other materials.

Why does the device keep changing direction in the same spot? What should I do if this happens?

This can happen for a couple of reasons:

1. If the device is repeatedly cleaning an area with small stones at the bottom of the pool, there's no need to worry. It will eventually move on to clean other areas once it's finished with the current spot.
2. If the bottom trolley wheels are stuck, they may need cleaning. Refer to the User Manual for instructions on how to clean them.

Why doesn't the device clean for the full 120 minutes?

Although the device is designed to run for up to 120 minutes, it may occasionally end its cleaning cycle early if the battery level falls below 20%. If you suspect that your device's battery isn't meeting expectations despite being fully charged before each use, please reach out to customer service for assistance.

Why the device only moves in one direction and doesn't reverse when it reaches the wall?

First, inspect the motor for any malfunctions or check if there are any obstructions in the water inlets. If everything seems fine, there might be an issue with the sensor or motor. Please contact customer service for further assistance.

Why is my device moving slower and picking up less debris?

We recommend you clean the filter tray before using your device. When the filter tray is full or partially full, it can cause the device to slow down and reduce its suction power. If your pool is exceptionally dirty, start by manually cleaning it, then use the device regularly to maintain cleanliness and prevent excessive dirt buildup.

Why does the indicator light flash red while the device is operating?

The indicator light flashes red while the device is in operation if the battery level dips below 20%.

Why isn't the device charging?

1. Firstly, make sure the device is turned off. It won't charge if it's already powered on.
2. Check if there's any debris blocking the charging port. If the charger isn't properly connected, the device won't charge.
3. Verify if the LED indicator light is illuminated. If not, please contact customer service.

Why does my device frequently stop or get stuck?

This device is specifically designed for smooth, flat pool floors. If your pool floor is uneven or not flat, the device may not operate at its maximum efficiency. Additionally, it's important to check for any obstructions in the water inlet, wheels, or if the device is stuck on the pool drain.

Will the device get stuck by the drain at the bottom of the pool?

The device has an obstacle clearance height of 10mm. If the pool floor drain is higher than 10mm, the device is prone to getting stuck. In such situations, you'll need to manually free it. To prevent this, please ensure to close the pool drain when using the device.
